Just in time for the weekend, I get the news that
Country Home is folding. Yeah, I know, it's not exactly one of my "top 5" per say, but it's still a sign of the times and that things are not looking good for some of our
favorite magazines. I leave you with some of my treasured inspirations from this timeless publication:

I cant beleive it! And there is me convincing my dad that magazines will not suffer the current times, what next!? very sad. xx

argghhhh. bad news about the mag, though I only seem to read it in waiting rooms, it really did have some fab tips. fingers crossed the Domino will survive!
that is so sad - the economy is really starting to affect things :(
Print really was already suffering; it's unfortunate that this was bound to happen. One of the two local newspapers here is 'for sale.' Not quite sure what's going to happen to it.
So, so very sad.
Oh No! I loved me some Country Home - even if it made odd bedfellows with my Nylon and Rolling Stone. It's such a lovely publication!
